is the schoolroom…but before it was a center of learning and fun…we think it was a center of dining…

notice the lovely burgundy stained carpeting…is that a bloodstain…was this a crime scene…well the only crime I am sure of is the built in “china” cabinet that was falling off the wall…on the right in the photo…we pulled it out pronto…

The glass “stained glass” doors were likewise a travesty and torn off pretty quickly…after removing the doors on the top and bottom on the built in on the left side of the picture…we decided to leave them for bookshelves… :0)

Here’s the after…

again, the same sublime green running through the school room as well…sigh…

the same oak laminate flooring…the same white ceiling and painted trim….sigh…beachiness…yah, baby!

the school table…pardon the soldering mess, but it’s my latest hobby and like Jenni at One Thing…i decided to “keep it real.”

My computer desk/bill paying station/etsy store all in one!

Some ponies the girls made from this site…gottaluvit!

the printer station, my brain erm…

Brain

bulletin board and various files that still need organizing…

…my ongoing love with all things galvanized…a pail that holds Annie’s, our dog, toys.

There it is “after” in all its lovely glory!  It’s one of my favorite rooms…probably because we are in it so much!
